Marmalades

[Under Construction]

"I got the blues thinking about the future, so I left off and made some marmalade."   D H Lawrence

Marmalade has been made in England from the 15th Century onwards. Portuguese quinces (marmelos) were the first fruit to be used, but the slightly bitter taste of Seville oranges soon established them as a firm favourite on the British breakfast table.

Our range of marmalades is as diverse as it is distinguished. All are painstakingly prepared by hand, simmered in traditional pans, then poured into our characteristic chunky hexagonal jars. So whether you like yours smooth, thick-cut, infused with exotic spices, or even laced with a wee dram, you will undoubtedly savour preserving perfection.
